Not seeing a course to fit your needs, book a custom course
This is an open course allowing you to work on a subject of your choice.
It can be skill or technique based, development of a design or product you need help with, assistance with a project you are working on or whatever fits the bill.
In the past, students have used this course to cover such subjects as Basques Making, Whip Making, Watch Straps, Wooden Box Covering, Cartridge Bags, Gun Slips, Gladstone Bags, Mobility Devices, Aprons and Tool Rolls.
This, as you can see, is a varied list so whatever you are thinking of, I’m sure it can be accommodated.
It can be booked as a single or multiple days to best suit you.
Course Content
This is very much dictated by you, by all means if you have an idea you want to discus, drop me an email and together we can work something out.
Who is this course for?
This is an ideal course for those already on their journey needing assistance moving forward with an ideas or project.
Equally, if you are just starting out and want to work in a specific way not listed, let me know.
Teachers! If you are an established leatherworker looking to move into teaching, or develop your teaching skills, this is a good course to consider.
Students can be provided who will be patient and accommodating whilst you work on your own skills.
What is included
In most cases, all materials, tools and sundries are supplied to enable you to get the most from your day, unless you are undertaking a specific project that requires certain leather or hardware.
It is unlikely that there will be any additional costs or fees but speak with Nigel first if you are working on something big and not bringing your own supplies.
Lunch
Lunch will be at 1, no lunch his provided so please bring provisions.Â

Tea and coffee are bottomless, the coffee is good and brewed fresh.

The course runs from 9am to 4pm with a break for lunch at 1.
Cancellation Policy
If you have booked a course and need to cancel, you are able to do so at any point up to 14 days prior to the date booked to be eligible for a full refund.
If you need to cancel within 14 days of the course, no refund will be given but alternative dates may be offered. Should you be unable to attend or have to cancel within 24hours of the course. alternative dates will be offered at a 50% reduction of the original course.
If you do think you will be unable to make it, please let me know as soon as possible.
If, having rescheduled a course you are again unable to attend, prior notice of 14 days or more will enable a refund less 25% administration fee.
If cancelled less than 14 days before the rescheduled course date then no refund will be given. In exceptional circumstances a third course date may be offered at the discretion of Armitage leather.
