Leather Wallet and Card Holder Making Course
Hone your wallet and card holder making skills
Wallets and card holders may be small, but they call on a wide range of leatherworking skills. During this one-to-one course, you will concentrate on either a simple two-pocket bi-fold wallet or a two-pocket card holder.
The day covers the skills required to design the item and produce an accurate working template. There is not enough time to complete the full item, but you will leave with a usable template and a clear understanding of how to continue the build.
Course Content
During the course, you will explore core skills used in both simple and complex leatherwork, including design, template making, measuring, cutting and stitch marking.
Who is this course for?
This course is suited to anyone who has begun developing their leatherworking skills. Wallet and card holder projects bring several core skills together, making the day useful at a range of experience levels.
What is included?
During your day, all materials, tools and sundries are supplied to enable you to get the most from your day.
There are no additional costs or fees.
Lunch
Lunch is at 12:30 and is not provided, so please bring provisions. Details of local amenities and accommodation are included in the joining pack once the course is booked. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day, including freshly brewed coffee.
All face-to-face courses take place at the Armitage Leather workshop. The course runs from 9 am to 4 pm, with a break for lunch at 12:30. Contact details and directions are available on the Contact page.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please let me know as soon as possible.
Cancellations made 14 days or more before the course date are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course date are not eligible for a refund, although an alternative date may be offered.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the course start time are not eligible for a refund. A further date may be offered at 50% of the normal course price.
All alternative dates are offered at the discretion of Armitage Leather.
If you would like to attend as a couple, trio or group of friends, you can add up to two additional places when booking. The second and third places are each reduced by 50%. Select the number of additional attendees at checkout.
